Abstract
Child welfare is a condition where all children's life needs and rights can be met. There are many cases where children have to suffer because of the relatively low economic conditions of their parents. This is the root of the problem of not fulfilling children's living needs and rights. Researchers have conducted research to examine these problems which cause a child's life to become less prosperous. The aim of this research is to find out how child welfare is implemented according to Law no. 4 of 1979 concerning Child Welfare in Kidangbang Village, Wajak District, Malang Regency. The type of legal research method used in writing this thesis is empirical juridical and the data analysis used is qualitative. The data used are primary and secondary data and the data collection techniques used are interviews, documentation and literature study. Efforts that can be made to minimize the problems mentioned above are the awareness of parents themselves in improving the welfare of their children's lives. Because they as parents are obliged by law to ensure the prosperity of their children's lives by providing for and providing for their children. In this way, children's welfare can definitely be implemented perfectly, because all of a child's life needs and rights can be met if their parents are willing to make an effort to support and provide for their child by working to fulfill and fulfill all of the child's life needs and rights. Because children are the future generation whose welfare must be taken into account so that their growth and development can run well.
