Abstract
Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 1 Kinali is a school located in West
Sumatra Province which coincides with Kinali District. Sekolah Menengah
Kejuruan Negeri 1 Kinali has many ongoing business processes such as business
processes for new student admissions, library business processes, business
processes for extracurricular activities and business processes for internship
programs. However, in the internship business process itself, there has been no
process update to support managing these services, so the processes carried out are
not yet efficient. Before making a system a solution for existing services, of course
an efficiency analysis needs to be carried out. One way that can be done is
throughput efficiency testing through Business Process Reengineering. One of the
goals of re-engineering business processes is to analyze current business processes
and then redesign new business processes to improve service quality and
performance. There are several stages that need to be carried out in business
process reengineering, namely, business process analysis, throughput efficiency
testing, refining process designs, business process recommendations, recommended
throughput efficiency tests, and designing comparative throughput efficiency tests.
There are several stages that need to be done in business process reengineering,
namely, business process analysis, throughput efficiency test, process design reimprovement, business process recommendation, recommendation throughput
efficiency test, and comparative design of throughput efficiency test. The results of
the throughput efficiency test increased by 45.2%, 0.1%, and 41.4% from 54.8%,
99.9%, and 58.6% in the three processes to 100%, 100%, and 100%.
