Abstract
Upreal is a creative house that focuses on logo design, flyers, banners, and
Instagram feeds. Reliance on Instagram as a marketing strategy results in
limitations in presenting comprehensive service information. In addition, potential
customers face difficulties in accessing service details, the ordering process, and
monitoring work progress, which can hinder Upreal's business growth and
innovation. This research aims to develop Upreal's design booking web front-end
using the pro-totype method to optimize the booking process and service marketing.
The application of the prototype method in front-end development facilitates
collaboration between developers and users, thereby addressing incompatibilities
and understanding the design when requirements are unclear. The stages of the
prototype method include problem identification, literature study, requirements
gathering, building prototypes, prototype evaluation, coding the system, system
testing, and system evaluation. The front-end development process is carried out
using the Next.js framework to increase effectiveness and efficiency. The results of
functionality testing using the black box method obtained a score of 100%,
indicating excellent system functionality. Performance testing using Lighthouse
scored above 90 in every aspect, indicating excellent system performance. User
acceptance testing achieved a score of 95%, indicating that the system successfully
met user needs very well. This research shows that the prototype method is effective
in developing the web front-end for the Upreal design booking system. This method
produces designs that are in line with user needs and adaptive to changes.
