Abstract

Low levels of C/N and Ca levels in the soil result in plants being less fertile or infertile. This research was to determine the effect of the mixture ratio of laying chicken and dairy cow manure on (C/N) and potassium (Ca) levels in compost and to find the ratio of laying chicken and dairy cow manure which can increase (C/N) and potassium (Ca) levels. on compost. Experimental methods are used, because in the process of making compost certain treatments are given. Meanwhile, the research design used was a completely randomized design (CRD) and was repeated 3 times. The treatment is as follows. Treatment 1 (P1) 60% laying hen manure: 40% dairy cow manure, treatment 2 (P2) 50% laying hen manure: 50%. Dairy cow manure, and treatment 3 (P3) 40% laying hen manure: 60% dairy cow manure. This research shows that the treatment given has a real influence on the one way anova test (one way test) on C/N levels in compost so that a follow-up test is carried out, namely the BNT (smallest significant difference) follow- up test. but for Ca levels the treatment given did not have a real effect. The C/N content obtained from this research was 2.476% and the Ca value obtained from this research was 0.44.
