Abstract

Until now, the problem that is still a problem among the community is cigarette smoke, which endangers people around them who indirectly inhale cigarette smoke. There are still very few/minimal smoke-free areas in urban areas, especially with very few laws for violators. The aim of designing a cigarette smoke detection system in smoking rooms is to provide comfort for people in a particular room from the dangers of annoying cigarette smoke, especially for other smokers. To overcome the problem of cigarette smoke, in this final project a cigarette smoke detector has been designed using the MQ-135 sensor and Blynk Apk to display the percentage of cigarette smoke detected. This tool can detect cigarette smoke with a minimum resistance percentage value of 250 ppm and an accuracy percentage of 80%. With this, creating a smoke exhaust system in smoking rooms can provide a sense of security and comfort for everyone who does not smoke and those around the room.
