Abstract
The process of making natural liquid fertilizers takes six months to a year (depending on the materials used). For this reason, many commercially produced bioactive products / decomposer agents have been developed to increase the rate of decomposition, increase the decomposition of organic matter, and improve the quality of the final product. The activity of microorganisms is influenced by the concentration of sugar, because the sucrose contained in the sugar solution is a substrate that is easily digested and used for the growth of microorganisms. This research was conducted in July 2020. The experiment used a factorial randomized block design (RBD). The first factor is the concentration of bioactivators with 4 levels of 0 ml / L water (E0), 15 ml / L water (E1), 20 ml / L water (E2), and 25 ml / L water (E3). The second factor is the molasses dose with 5 levels of 0 ml / L water (D0), 25 ml / L water (D1), 50 ml / L water (D2), 75 ml / L water (D3), and 100 ml / L water. (D4). The variables observed were germination (%), maximum growth potential (%), root length (cm), and hypocotyl length (cm). Data were analyzed by ANOVA and further tested with BNJ 5%. The results of this study showed that the interaction between the treatment of bioactivator and molasses did not significantly affect the fermentation speed of mustard liquid organic fertilizer (POC). The provision of bioactivators had no significant effect on the fermentation speed of liquid organic fertilizer (POC). The application of molasses had a very significant effect on the fermentation speed of mustard liquid organic fertilizer (POC) on observations of pH, temperature on day 7, aroma and color.
