Abstract
In this era, sources of information are easily accessible, including pornography. The effects can influence some negative behaviors. One of them is masturbation.. Masturbation here includes the misuse of genitals such as touching or rubbing one's own genitals with various objects to obtain sexual stimulation so as to obtain pleasure and reach a peak (climax). Masturbation behavior is caused by several factors, such as biological changes, sexual knowledge, and the appreciation of religious values or the level of religiosity. Religiosity is defined as how far the knowledge, strong beliefs, implementation of worship, and rules in the appreciation of the religion that is adhered to. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an “influence of religiosity on masturbation behavior among late adolescents”. The research method used was quantitative non-experimental with Random Sampling techniques on late adolescent subjects (aged 18-22 years) male or female who masturbated. 331 subjects were analyzed using a simple regression test. The research instrument used a questionnaire on the scale of masturbation and religiosity. The results of this study were that there was an influence of religiosity on masturbation behavior among late adolescents
