Abstract
Narcotics are substances/substances/drugs which, when entered into the human body, will affect the body, especially the brain/central nervous system, causing physical, psychological and social functioning health problems, due to habits, addiction (addiction) and dependence (dependency) on drugs. Drugs. In Jombang Regency, narcotics abuse cases have increased quite high, and the average narcotics abusers are of productive age. So the author aims to analyze the factors that cause suspects of narcotics abuse in Jombang district and how to deal with recidivist narcotics abusers in Jombang district. The research method used is qualitative research. Data collection used was by conducting interviews and questionnaires, then analyzed qualitatively. The results of the study stated that the causes of drug abuse suspects in Jombang Regency occurred due to environmental factors, economic factors and educational factors. Efforts to deal with recidivism of narcotics abusers in Jombang district are carried out in two forms, namely preventive efforts in the form of activities to create a Drug Clean Village and repressive efforts in the form of arrests, termination of narcotics illicit traffic routes, uncovering dealer syndicate networks and carrying out regional routine operations and centralized special operations in a coordinated manner. consistent and ongoing. And by making narcotics perpetrators narcotics ambassadors.
