PENGARUH KEBIJAKAN EKSPOR BATUBARA INDONESIA TERHADAP HUBUNGAN EKONOMI POLANDIA

Coal is an organic carbon compound which grows naturally from plant residues. Indonesia is one of the largest coal producing countries in the world and is a coal exporter so that other countries that need coal supplies must import coal from other countries to meet their country's resource needs. The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources issued a policy banning coal exports in January 2022 to maintain domestic coal supplies which also causes a reduction in overseas coal supplies imported from Indonesia. The purpose of writing this research is to determine the influence of the policy issued by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) regarding the ban on coal exports on Indonesia's diplomatic relations with Poland. The method used is qualitative in the form of secondary descriptive so that the data studied comes from journals, articles, news and theses. The results of this research are that with the ban on coal export policies, Indonesia's relations with Poland have an impact because coal is needed for daily needs, for example, to power electricity they need coal resources and several industries need coal to fuel their equipment. The conclusion is that Indonesia's diplomatic relations with Poland, which have existed since 1955, have become strained but this has not had much of an impact because Poland can meet its coal supply from other coal producing countries.
