Abstract

The rapid development of technology today encourages innovation in various fields, one of which is in agriculture, namely in hydroponic plants that are still managed manually. This study aims to design a monitoring system for pH levels and turbidity in hydroponic plants.
The tool system designed uses an Arduino Uno microcontroller and several other components, namely the PH-4502C sensor which functions to measure the pH levels contained in water solutions, the Turbidity sensor which functions to measure turbidity in water solutions. Data from the sensor will be processed and displayed on the 12C 4x20 LCD screen.
Several tests were carried out on both sensors, the PH-4502C sensor and the Turbidity sensor functioned well and produced pH and turbidity values displayed on the 12C 4x20 LCD screen. All values generated from the sensor are very suitable for the growth of hydroponic plants.
The system designed is a water pH monitoring system using an LCD in hydroponic plants. The use of this technology is expected to increase ease and comfort in agriculture, especially in hydroponic plants.
