Abstract

The increasingly rapid development of technology is currently encouraging innovation in various fields, one of which is in the agricultural sector, namely in hydroponic plants which are still managed manually. This research aims to design a system for monitoring nutrient levels, temperature and humidity in hydroponic plants.
The tool system designed uses an Arduino Uno microcontroller and several other components, namely a TDS meter sensor which functions to measure the nutrient levels contained in air solutions, a DHT22 sensor which functions to measure the temperature and humidity in the surroundings. Data from the sensor will be processed and displayed on the 12C 4x20 LCD screen.
Several tests were carried out, namely on the two sensors, the TDS meter sensor and the DHT22 sensor, which functioned well and produced nutritional, temperature and humidity values displayed on the 12C 4x20 LCD screen. All values produced from the sensor are very suitable for hydroponic plant growth.
The system designed is a system for monitoring nutrient levels, temperature and humidity in hydroponic plants. The use of this technology is expected to increase convenience and comfort in the agricultural sector, especially in hydroponic plants.
