ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN PADA TN. S DENGAN DIABETES MELITUS DAN GAGAL GINJAL KRONIK DI RUANG MAWAR RSU UNIVERSITAS MUHAMMADIYAH MALANG

Background: Non-communicable diseases are known as diseases that cannot be spread from one person to another. There are four main types of non-communicable diseases, namely cardiovascular disease, cancer, chronic respiratory disease and diabetes. Kidney damage caused by DM is called diabetic nephropathy. The patient who was the topic in preparing the case study was treated in the rose room at the Muhammadiyah University of Malang General Hospital. This final scientific work aims to describe the process of nursing care for Mr. S Diabetes Mellitus with Chronic Renal Failure. Method: The research design used is a case study report. The author follows the scientific method according to the principles of the nursing process which include: Assessment, Data Analysis, Nursing Intervention, Implementation and Evaluation referring to the IDHS, SLKI and SIKI. The assessment process uses data collection by Anamnesis, Documentation Study. Physical examination is head to toe with inspection, palpation, percussion, auscultation and supporting examinations including laboratory tests. Results: Nursing care that had been provided for 4 days, found six diagnoses of poisoning problems: namely: instability of blood glucose levels, ineffective breating patterns, acute pain, nausea, anxiety and disturbed sleep patters. Discussion: The nursing problem of unstable blood glucose level is a priority nursing diagnosis. Implementation is carried out in accordance with the nursing intervention plan.
