Abstract
This study aims to: (1) Describe theAdiwiyata program at the schools; (2)Describes the implementation ofenvironmental programs through learningactivities; (3) Describes implementation ofprograms Adiwiyata activities throughparticipatory environment.(4) to discribethe supporting factors, inhibiting factors,and provide a description in Overcomingthe inhibiting factors of Adiwiyata programon Senior Public High Schools 8 and 7 inMalang. This research used a descriptivequalitative approach. The results Showedthat the policy of living environment in theschool already stated in the official decisionand integrated in each subject. Then, theschools socialize some of the main activitiesusing the approach to the students toObtain perfect support to create absoluteagreement that the school is trulyenvironmental school. The supportingsystem like garden, open areas, waste waterinstallation and monitoring tool units arealready exist and environmental friendly.Furthermore, researcher still found varioussituations inhibiting the continuousimplementation of Adiwiyata, such as theunit of the task is not on time, and there is agroup of students who have not beenTirrenus in understanding the concept ofenvironmental schools, funding issues, andthe support of the society and other partiesare going low when the shifting of hapenedschool leader. It is better if the schools haveimplemented a strategic steps to overcomethe barriers existing
