Abstract
The Yeh Penet watershed is a river basin that has a river length of 53,580 km, with an
area of 228,492 km². The very high increase in population growth will cause a decline in the
quality of the Yeh Penet watershed and allow landslides, droughts, floods and erosion to occur
due to a decline in watershed function. This research aims to analyze the relationship between
infiltration and erosivity at five points located in Candi Kuning I Village, Candi Kuning II
Village, Bangli Village, Baturiti Village and Nyambu Village. Analysis of erosion data using the
RUSLE formula and infiltration using a double ring infiltrometer and physical properties testing
using the triangle test. Based on the results, all locations obtained a correlation, but significant
correlations obtained with a p value below 0.050 were obtained at Candi Kuning, Baturiti I
District and Baturiti, Baturiti District. The results obtained show that altitude conditions, land
management, topography, physical properties of soil and vegetation have an important role in
carrying out air absorption and air conservation, thereby reducing the occurrence of surface
erosion.
