Abstract

This research aimed to know how is the implementation of the PQRST
technique to students' reading comprehension and how does the PQRST
technique promote students' reading comprehension. This research design
used is Library research. The selected source of data was from the
Indonesia researcher journals focus on the implementation of the PQRST
technique to students' reading comprehension for senior high school level
in Indonesia. The sources are published from 2012 to 2018. The
implementation of the PQRST technique has proven to be effective in
helping students' reading comprehension. Each stage of PQRST provides
benefits for students in facilitating their learning. The PQRST technique is
also easy to implement by teachers and greatly assists students in
understanding the reading text. The students more active, enthusiastic in
learning, more enthusiastic and focused.
