PROGRAM RUMAH PEDULI LANSIA TRIBUANA TUNGGA DEWI DALAM PENINGKATAN KESEJAHTERAAN SOSIAL LANJUT USIA TERLANTAR DI KOTA MOJOKERTO

The increasing number of elderly people in Indonesia presents a major challenge in the provision of social welfare services, especially for the neglected elderly. In Mojokerto City, Rumah Peduli Lansia Tribuana Tungga Dewi plays an important role in providing care and support for the neglected elderly. Rumah Peduli Lansia aims to meet the basic needs, health, and emotional well-being of its residents through various programs and services. This study aims to analyze the contribution of Rumah Peduli Lansia Tribuana Tungga Dewi in social welfare services in Mojokerto City, as well as identify challenges and opportunities faced in efforts to improve the quality of life of displaced elderly.
This research is a descriptive study using a qualitative approach. The subjects in this study were determined using a purposive technique with selected criteria. Data collection in this study was carried out using participatory observation methods, in-depth interviews, as well as documentation which would later be analyzed by condensing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions.
The results of this study found that Rumah Peduli Lansia Tribuana Tungga Dewi has a significant contribution in improving the social welfare of displaced elderly in Mojokerto City. Some of the main findings include: fulfillment of basic needs, health services, and emotional and social well-being.
