PENGARUH MINAT SOSIAL TERHADAP PENYESUAIAN SOSIAL DITINJAU DARI KEMATANGAN EMOSI

Adolescence is a period of identity crisis. Adolescence is said to be the age of self-discovery. However, in this digital era, teenagers tend to be more focused on their sosial media life, which makes them having very least interactions with surrounding environment. Sosial interest is the influence of sosial adjustment in adolescents. Meanwhile, emotional maturity presumably takes place in strengthening or weakening of sosial interest on sosial adjustment. This research aims to find out the effect of sosial interest on sosial adjustment with emotional maturity as a moderation variable. The method used in this research is non-experimental quantitative, with Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) as the analysis model. The analysis was carried out by using SPSS software with 127 adolescence respondents as the sample. The results of this research showed a significant effect of sosial interest on sosial adjustment with a value of p = 0.018 (p<0.05) with an influence contribution of 4.2%. Emotional maturity has the influence of sosial interest towards sosial adjustment with p = 0.006 (p<0.05) emotional maturity strengthen the influence of sosial interest on sosial adjustment with contributions 10,4%.
