HUBUNGAN CITRA DIRI DENGAN PERILAKU SEHAT PADA GENERASI Z

Generation Z, who grew up in the digital era with extensive use of technology and social media, forms their self-image through complex interactions in the digital environment, influencing assessments of physical appearance and personal values. On the other hand, their healthy behaviors are influenced by information obtained from social media, which encourages activities such as sports and balanced diets. This study aims to examine the relationship between self-image and healthy behaviors in Generation Z. The research methodology employed is quantitative, utilizing purposive sampling techniques. Instruments used for the self-image variable include self-image scale compiled by Safitri (2020), and for positive behavior variables healthy behavior scale compiled by Monica (2018). The study results indicate a significant positive relationship between self-image and healthy behaviors among Generation Z . Generation Z individuals with a positive self-image tend to exhibit higher levels of healthy behaviors, whereas those with a negative self-image demonstrate lower levels of healthy behaviors.
