Abstract
As a citizen of Indonesia, it is obligatory to have a religion. And Islam is the religion with the most adherents in Indonesia. In the Qur'an, a verse is mentioned which reads "Those who believe do good deeds, they will have happiness and a good place to return" (Q.S Ar-Ra'd: 29). Happiness is one of the things that humans continue to seek in life. The search for happiness is also not limited to age, gender, or religion. Everyone wants to feel happy, peaceful in life that is physical and spiritual and lucky. Happiness is also found in various aspects of life such as economic, social, physical and spiritual, so it is undeniable that happiness is an important thing in life. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of religiosity on student happiness. The method used was quantitative correlation with data analysis using simple linear regression with 153 students aged 18-26 years. The research instruments used were the religiosity scale and the Oxford Happiness Inventory scale to measure the happiness variable. The results of the study showed that there was an influence of religiosity on happiness with a significance figure of 0.00 <0.01, and an R Square value of 0.113.
