Abstract

The auditorium can be called a multi-purpose room, because this area can be used for various activities such as musical dramas or theater performances. The auditorium is the main facility for open academic community meetings, especially for anniversaries and graduation ceremonies. In this plan, the importance of a structure that is sturdy and economical is discussed. The roof of the Brawijaya University Auditorium Building with a space frame structure (upper structure) including columns, uses SPRMK which refers to SNI. Implementation using the composite method provides various advantages, namely easy implementation, thereby saving time and costs. Next, we obtained the results of the curtain design (C-Channel 150x150x20x2.3), Sagrod with a round solid steel profile with a diameter of 16 mm, wind ties with a pipe profile with a diameter of 2 inches and a thickness of 3.6 mm, trusses with a pipe profile with a diameter of 5 inches and a thickness of 5 mm, connections using weld with 8in thick profile pipe. With the help of Staadpro software, output is obtained in the form of moments and stability analysis results.
