Abstract

Honorary teachers also have roles and responsibilities that are as important as civil servant teachers in the world of education. However, sometimes honorary teachers have greater duties and responsibilities and salaries that are much lower than civil servant teachers. This makes honorary teachers experience an imbalance between work and personal life due to unfinished work and personal demands. An imbalance between work and personal life in honorary teachers can affect the quality and well-being of their work and life. Therefore, this research aims to determine the influence between work life balance the quality of work life on honorary teachers in Kotabaru Regency with a sample size of 155 people. This research uses quantitative methods with techniques simple random sample. The research instrument used is Work Life Balance Scale and Quality of Work Life Scale. Based on the research results it was found that work life balance positive and significant effect on quality of work life to honorary teachers who have value P < 0.05. Meanwhile, the R value rectangle obtained is 0.030 meaning work life balance have an influence on quality of work life by 3%. So the hypothesis in this research is accepted, namely that there is an influence work life balance the quality of work life to honorary teachers.
