Abstract

Re-design of the structure of the Oral Dental Hospital Building, University of Brawijaya Malang with a composite steel structure using the LRFD method with standard reference to SNI 1726:2019 concerning Procedures for Earthquake Resistance Planning for Building and Non-Building Structures, planning SNI 1727:2020 concerning Minimum Loads for Planning Buildings and other Structures, SNI 1729:2020 concerning Specifications for Structural Steel Buildings, SNI 2847:2019 concerning Structural Concrete Requirements for Buildings, SNI 7860:2020 concerning Seismic Provisions for Structural Steel Buildings, and SNI 7972:2020 concerning Prequalified Connections For Special And Intermediate
Steel Moment Frames In Seismic Applications. The Special Moment Resisting Frame (SMRF) earthquake resistance system is used in this building. From the planning results, a composite plate thickness of 120 mm was obtained, using a W-1000 type floor deck with a thickness of 0.65 mm produced by PT. Union Metal, with main reinforcement Ø10mm - 150 mm and shrinkage reinforcement Ø10mm - 250 mm. The child beams use WF 300x150x6.5x9, and the main beam uses WF 450x200x9x14 in the longitudinal and transverse directions. For the column, a WF profile of 400x400x16x24 is used, a BSEP (Bolted Stiffended End Plate) type
connection is used, and a base plate with dimensions of 750x750 mm with several anchors of 8-Ø32 mm with a length of 1500 mm.
