Abstract
The millennial generation is a generation known as the internet generation with a fast, creative and impatient character. The millennial generation has lower work engagement compared to other generations. Perceived organizational support and occupational self-efficacy can influence work engagement. This research aims to determine the effect of perceived organizational and occupational support on work engagement. This research is a correlational quantitative research and uses accidental sampling techniques with millennial generation employees totaling 353 private company employees. The instruments are the perceived organizational support scale by Eisenberger et al. (1986) with a reliability of 0.95, occupational self-efficacy scale by Pethe, et al. (1988) with a reliability of 0.98, and the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale-9 with a reliability value of 0.85. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear data analysis. The subjects in this research were 353 millennial generation employees. The research results show that perceived organizational support has a significant effect on work engagement, occupational self-efficacy has a significant effect on work engagement, and perceived organizational support and occupational self-efficacy simultaneously have an effect on work engagement by 77.5%.
