Abstract
The internet in educational institutions is used by students for lecture activities as a learning facility to support the quality of teaching and learning. This research aims to determine whether there is a relationship between conscientiousness and cyberloafing behavior in students using quantitative correlational research methods through the conscientiousness scale approach. The reliability of the conscientiousness scale is 0.877. Cyberloafing reliability scale for sharing, 0.793 for shopping, 0.618 for real-time updating, 0.738 for accessing online content, 0.607 for gaming, 0.630. This research sample used purposive sampling, the resulting number of subjects was 270 students from 14 study programs at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang. The results obtained by this research are that there is no relationship between conscientiousness and aspects of sharing, shopping, real-time updating, accessing online content, gaming among students during lecture hours.
