The Impacts of Teaching Assistance as Service Learning on Students of Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang at SMAN 3 Malang

This thesis investigates the impacts of Teaching Assistance as service learning on students of Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang at SMAN 3 Malang. The research participants are students of Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang who have taken part in Teaching Assistance at SMAN 3 Malang. A qualitative design is used by the researcher to conduct the study. The researcher uses open-ended questionnaires and unstructured interviews to gather the data. Based on the result of the study, there are six impacts of Teaching Assistance as service learning on students of Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang at SMAN 3 Malang. The ability to apply knowledge, make the course relevant, knowledge retention, exposure to societal challenges, insight into career development, and multiple opportunities to learn.
