Abstract
This research aims to determine the difference in writing ability before and after being given the guided writing method. The use of the guided writing method can be used to improve children's writing skills. Low motor skills affect children's writing abilities. This can be improved through repeated modeling. Guide writing is a method that is applied by providing examples or modeling as a stimulus that will be used by children to imitate and copy certain letter shapes on paper according to the examples given. The method used in this research is a quasi-experiment with a single-subject experimental design with the A-B-A model. The subject in this study was a 13 years old boy who had difficulty writing. The analysis technique used is the visual analysis method with graphic data to interpret the differences before and after being given guide writing. This shows that the post-test score has increased compared to the pre-test score.
