Abstract

The balance of roles in work and family is very important to maintain the stability of a person's psychological well-being. In addition, maintaining the stability of psychological well-being can reduce conflict or pressure from roles in the family or work or commonly called work family conflict. The aim of this research is to determine the influence between work life balance and work family conflict to psychological well being in generation z workers. This research uses a quantitative method with three measuring instruments, namely WLB-S to measure work life balance, WFC-S to measure work family conflict, and PWB-S for measuring psychological well being. The research subjects were 348 people, including generation z workers, aged 20-29 years. The sampling technique used accidental sampling. Data analysis uses multiple linear regression. The research results show that there is a negative influence between work life balance with a significance value of 0.218 and work family conflict with a significance value of 0.000 against psychological well being Generation Z workers. The magnitude of the influence work life balance and work family conflict to psychological well being was 29.1% while the remaining 70.9% was influenced by other variables not studied.
