ANALISIS KETAHANAN SOSIAL DALAM BENCANA TANAH LONGSOR DI DESA SAMBIREJO KECAMATAN WONOSALAM KABUPATEN JOMBANG JAWA TIMUR

Social resilience is a society's ability to adapt to external pressures or environmental changes. Research on social resilience in the context of landslides has the aim of exploring and understanding how people and communities face and survive the impacts of disasters. Considering that landslides are the third largest type of natural disaster in the world after floods and tornadoes. The aim of this research is to describe the form and analyze the process of realizing social resilience in the landslide disaster in Sambirejo Village, Wonosalam District, Jombang Regency, East Java. This research uses a qualitative approach method with a case study type. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews with 11 subjects and 3 informants, and documentation. The theoretical basis used is social resilience developed by Keck and Sakdapolrak, which analyzes social resilience from three capacities, namely coping capacity, adaptation capacity and transformation capacity. From these three capacities, researchers looked at the form and process of realizing social resilience of residents in landslide disasters. As a result of the research obtained, the researcher discovered and explained the form and process of realizing the social resilience of the Sambirejo Village community in the landslide disaster, starting from the physical recovery capacity, the ability to anticipate the occurrence of victims, the process of physical recovery of houses due to landslides and the coordination process in anticipating the occurrence of victims.
