Abstract

Work is an important factor in fulfilling life's needs. Employees often face work demands to fulfill work goals outside of working hours. Employees who face two interests between work and family cannot be managed optimally, which will cause conflict at work or family. Therefore, social support for employees is very much needed. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of social support on work family conflict in employees. This research uses a quantitative type of research with correlational methods. The sampling technique used in this research is accidental sampling technique. The subjects of this research were full-time employees with an age range of 22-50 years totaling 120 subjects. The scales used in this research are the Perceived Social Support constructed scale for the social support variable, and WFC (Work Family Conflict) for the work family conflict variable. Based on research results shows that the sig value is 0.000 (p<0.05) which mean that there is The influence of social support on work family conflict in employees. The R square result is 0.296 so it can be interpreted that the social support variable provides an influence of 29.6% on the work family conflict variable.
