Abstract

The Faculty of Sports Science Building, Surabaya State University is a building used for academic activities on campus. Proper foundation planning is very necessary to ensure the stability and safety of the building. The foundation acts as a support and load bearer from the upper structure and transmits the load to the soil layer. The drilled pile foundation is planned with a diameter of 0.6 meters with a depth of 34 meters. The analysis results from the STAAD-pro software show that the maximum load occurs in the PU reaction of 2278.183 kN. The resulting pile bearing capacity is 1988.089 kN. The pile cap is planned to use 2 types, type 1 measuring 2 meters x 2 meters, type 2 measuring 3 meters x 1.5 meters. For foundation reinforcement, 8D22 longitudinal reinforcement and D13-100 spiral reinforcement are used. The largest total decrease was 2,998 cm, so it met the requirements because it was smaller than 15 + b/600.
