Abstract

Teacher performance is an important factor in improving the quality of education. Teacher performance appraisals are often conducted based on certain standards to ensure they fulfill their professional role. However, many teachers in Indonesia experience difficulties in achieving minimum competency standards, which has an impact on the quality of national education. This research aims to analyze the relationship between subjective career success and teacher performance. This research used quantitative methods with 107 teachers participating. The instruments used in this research were the Individual Work Performance Questionnaire (IWPQ) scale and the Subjective Career Success Inventory (SCSI). This research uses the Pearson correlation test analysis technique, then the results are analyzed per dimension. The results of this study indicate that the overall dimensions of subjective career success are significant (P<0.05) to the dimensions of task performance and contextual performance of performance.
