Abstract

The poverty represents one of the problems always experienced by human. The poverty problem as old as with human old and the problem implication involve entire aspect of human life. The report of The World Health Organization (WHO) mentioned that during two years latest (2005-2007) were founded 50 thousands people died because of suicide, as if that way is the best way out. Multi dimension crisis occurred in this country come from identity crisis that based on unclear identity as personal and nation. Identity crisis and “loosing” of it self, on psychology science have tight relation with the unclear of the important value that can be made the life orientation. On the other side, several people that can be classified on the Town Pauper keep survive with many kinds of their restrictiveness economically. This is become interesting to review deeper, so that the research has purposed to find out the life meaning of the town pauper. The research type was descriptive qualitative research, by using 4 subjects include on the Town Pauper category. Data collection method was interview and observation. The result of research indicated that basically the town pauper realized that their family economic condition was unlucky. But, they received that condition by be patient and fatefully, so that they become strong by receive that condition as the best giving of God. There must be wisdom behind that condition, so that they keep try as maximize as possible. The life meaning resource of the town pauper come from lovely to family that make them always get spirit to work. They hope that their family condition will be better so that life quality of their family also can be better. Be blessing of God as the life purpose also represents motivation resource for the town pauper in order to their life can be guided
