The study was conducted to describe the implementation of teaching of integrated English skills at SMP Negeri I JatirotoLumajang. The teaching implementation involved the use of the lesson plans, instructional materials and media, as well as the instructional activities done in the teaching integrated English skills. The reasons for choosing SMP Negeri I JatirotoLumajang, as the site of the study were: (1) SMP Negeri I Jatiroto Lumajang has qualified and experienced teachers; and (2) SMP Negeri I JatirotoLumajang conducts the teachinglearning process based on the 2004 curriculum The study employed a qualitative research design. The subjects of the study were three English teachers who taught in the first, second, and third year. The data were collected through observations, and interviews. The findings of this study show that the teachers of the first , second, and third year class used satuan kegiatan harian (Daily lesson plan), and satuan kegiatan mingguan (Weekly lesson plan). There are the English textbooks as the main instructional material, those are; “Get Along with English for SMP/MTS students”, “Canggih Berbahasa Inggris for SMP students”, and “Pedoman untuk guru Pelajaran BAHASA INGGRIS for SMP “. Then, the instructional media used in the classroom are; Wall chart, pictures of paper, a tape recorder, computer, television, and VCD player. Meanwhile, in instructional activities, the teachers usually use three phases in teaching integrated English skills, those are; Pre teaching activity, Whilstteaching activity, and Postteaching activity. From the study, some suggestions are provided. For the English teachers, the results of the study are very useful for the students as a feedback for improving their learning teaching activities. By using a well integrated material, the English teachers are guided to implement the teaching of integrated English skills in the classroom as an attempt to provide the students with an interesting and motivating lessons. In the future, the researcher should take some other junior high schools as the setting of the study to find out and learn other ways of implementing the teaching of integrated English skills in order that the researchers will hopefully have knowledge of the teaching of English skills in an integrated manner.
