Abstract
Background : Central obesity as one of index for fat distribution of upper body possible applicable to identify individu wuth risk incured by metabolic disseases, inclusive of here that is Dislipidemia. Dislipidemia, sliver its bearing with atherosclerosis, which atherosclerosis closely related with improvement of rate of LDL plasma. Central obesity most of all because of fat existence intra abdominal. The side effect of increasing free fatty acid is increasing the rate of trigliseride. Purpose : Expressing correlation between rate of LDL plasma cholesterol and trigliserida with central obesity. Research Method : Analytical study with Cross Sectional done in Interne Installation of dr. Saiful Anwar General Hospital – Malang. Result of study : (1) There are very strong correlation between TG and central obesity at Chi Square with value = 0,000 (p<0,05). (2) There are no correlation between LDL cholesterol and central obesity at Chi Square test with value= 0,119 < p ( 0,05). Conclusion : ( 1)Trigliserida have strong meaning to cause abdominal obesity. (2) LDL cholesterol have no meaning to cause abdominal obesity.
