Abstract

Background: Acute exhalation channel infection especially pneumonia hold responsible to more or less 50% from death of baby below/under 1 year and about/around 20% death at all of underage children 5 year which take care of lodged Target: To prove the existence of relation between some risk factors with improvement the happening of pneumonia at baby take care of to lodge age 1­12 months. Method: Analytic research device method of observational with approach of study sectional cross at home Common/ Public Pain of Area of Ngudi Waluyo Blitar period 1 January 2006 – 31 December 2006 Result: Baby case have age to 1­12 months which suffering taken care of Pneumonia stay with Public Pain of Area of Ngudi Waluyo Blitar there is counted 61.76%, and baby majority patient of taken care of Pneumonia stay with Public Pain of Area of Ngudi Waluyo Blitar majority have age to between 0­4 months ( 49.2 have%), men gender to (61.9%) and come from weakeconomic socio with work of old fellow as farmworker (33.3%) Conclusion: Baby age and gender have relation which isn't it to prevalence the happening of pneumonia at age baby 1­12 taken care of months stay with Public Pain of Area of Ngudi Waluyo Blitar. Economic social (type work of old fellow) having relation/link which do not isn't it to prevalence the happening of pneumonia at age baby 1­12 months. Men baby tend to more is hit by pneumonia than woman baby, and baby which is have age to below/under 4 months tend to more is hit by pneumonia than which is have above age to 4 months.
