Abstract

Heat Exchanger is important equipment in industry including oil and gas industry. Lately, at West Seno field Chevron Indonesia Company found degradation of Gasketed and Plate Heat Exchanger’s thermal performance. This caused cooling at Printed Circuit Heat Exchanger as gas stream cooling in efficient. The efforts to improve Gasketed and Plate Heat Exchanger’s thermal performance through chemical cleaning did not satisfy, where as mechanical cleaning was not applicable. Based on the condition, Heat Exchanger are designed to replace Gasketed and Plate Heat Exchanger which installation will not stop operation
