Abstract

Creativity is important aspect of children to facing their future that have mare global rival. With their creativity, a child can actualize and express theirself, and a child who like to play creativity, make them more creative. Preschool condition is very meaningful to continue the process of kids build. At this age, kid always active, dynamic, antusiasm, rich of imagination, like fantasy, have short attention, and potential time to learn. Because of that, constructive play can stimulate their creativity and also imagination. Its because plays media with material and object can makes the kids imagine something they want, and also they will happy and satisfied with their things. The research’s aim is to know the effect of constructive play to preschool children creativity. The variable is constructive play free variable / experiment variable and creative play as control variable. Data collecting, conduct with three ways are figural creativity of circle to pre-test and given touching, conservative play to treat and observe during treatment. Data collected from 15 children of TK Kartika IV – 44 Kediri, where 8 children as experiment subject and 7 children as control subject. Meanwhile, the analysis technique use independent simple t-test with SPSS 13.0 version program for windows. The analysis result shows that t count for the differences of posttest and pretest for control group and experiment group is 2,673 in significant level 0,019, mean that significant value less than 0,05, in this condition, there is differences if the value less than 0,05. Means, there is differences between control group that having treatment and experiment group that given constructive play when pretest and posttest. So, there is effect of constructive play to preschool children creativity.
