Abstract

All aspects of human life have entered the era of modernization along with the
development of science and technology. One of the technologies being developed
is a control system which will enable people to control household electrical
equipment such as lights which can be turned on based on human movement.
When using lights in a room such as a toilet or bathroom, the control system will
turn on the lights with instructions in the form of movements using a motion
sensor (PIR) electronic component. The information received by the sensor will
then be sent to the Arduino microcontroller and processed with an output device
in the form of lights and sound notifications via speakers. The control system will
operate when the motion sensor receives information in the form of movement
from humans. Then the information will be sent to the Arduino which has been
given a program and uploaded using the Arduino IDE software which aims to
turn on or turn off the lights according to the program. Turning on the lights
based on movement has several factors that can influence it, such as the height
placement of the PIR sensor
