Block Paving is used to strengthen surface which is easier in processing and has value of art than that of flexible hardened coating, composite coating, and presstress concrete. Comparison of mixing and maintenance age in this research is Lapindo mud as additional composition of block paving. A mistake in determining amount of mix will cause character changes of block paving as friendly environmental hardening. So, Pressing is used in production of block paving. This research is laboratory research that was done in Civil Engineering Laboratory of Muhammadiyah University of Malang and CV. Raja Karya is a producer of block paving located in Tanggulangin Sidoarjo. There are 3 variant mixes used in comparison of 1:4:0%, 1:4:10%, 1:4:20%. Every mix is given a 3 variant pressing with pressure of 60 kg/cm2, 80 kg/cm2, and 100 kg/cm2. Each variable has three test objects of every test age, with total 243 block paving. Test used in this research is pressing test, absorption, and axis. Block paving test is done at maintenance age of 7 days, 14 days, and 21 days. The result of this research is that maximum strength of 251 kg/cm2 is reached at 1:4:20% mix with 100 kg/cm2 and maintenance age of 21 days. Minimum absorption of 4.8% and minimum axis of 7.35% are also reached at 1:4:20% mix with 100 kg/cm2 and maintenance age of 21 days. In every pressing, maintenance age and mix of block paving affect strength, absorption, and block paving axis.
