The research has taken place at February 2007 at Integrated Laboratory Campus II University of Muhammadiyah Malang. This research main purpose are to know how far does garlic solution effect as antibiotics substitution to Salmonella pullorum . the purpose of garlic using is to find out the possibilities of degradation in using of antibiotics and substitute it with herbal agent. While the antibiotics uses degradation purpose because the antibiotics would leave its residue that might be carried on humans body besides of the bacteria resistantion possibilities. The research done by giving the garlic solution into sphere concentrations level to Salmonella pullorum bacteria isolate as the avian pullorum causes or generally called White Diarrhea Diseases. Some medium liquid or solid it is used to cultivated the Salmonella pullorum bacteria isolate. The research result that the highest action was on 100 % level. This result still missed from what it did expected because the diameter it is shown has very little compare to the diameter that shown by antibiotics. But there is still a possibilities to increase the result by increasing the concentration of allicin, the antibiotics agent that contained on garlic by decreasing the water presentation in garlic solution. In abandon test, the bacteria are still growing. This means that the giving of garlic solution just give a bacteriostatics effect. But the scientist believes that there is a differentiation by using garlic extraction subjectively. That’s why scientist recommend the abandon research.
