Abstract

Temperature and humidity are 2 main factors (in addition to air circulation and playback eggs) that determines the success of hatching eggs. Based on the reference, the optimal temperature in the hatching machine that is 38-41oC and optimum humidity is 52% -55% RH. However, most conventional egg incubators in the market only consider one factor is temperature. Humidity and temperature sensors HSM G-20 has many advantages that make it a perfect choice for this application. Selection of a microcontroller which controllers brain falls on AT89S52-performance and greater flexibility. For heating incubators used 2 pieces of the heating element. Incubator room is also equipped with 2 pieces of fan for air circulation. Design layout of a compact controller and incubator space equipped eggs player mechanism automatically provides ease of operation of this egg incubators. Tetas machine which has a maximum capacity of 18 this item has been tested to incubate chicken eggs and have a fairly high percentage of success.
