Abstract

This study analyzes the implementation of management carried out by the Grand Mercure Malang Mirama Hotel using the theory of logistics management functions. This study aims to determine the implementation of logistics management that has been done, provide suggestions for the implementation of logistics management based on the analysis of logistics management functions and determine the supporting and inhibiting factors of logistics management of Grand Mercure Malang Mirama Hotel. This paper uses qualitative method with descriptive approach. Techniques used in data collection are interviews,
observation, and documentation.

The results of this study indicate that the logistics management carried out is optimal and can control logistics-related budget costs. Furthermore, based on the analysis of the logistics management function carried out, Grand Mercure Malang Mirama Hotel needs to add labor so that it can improve the quality of logistics management that has been carried out. Finally, evaluating the cash flow can reduce the occurrence of negligence, the lack of checking the cash flow can hamper the performance of the purchasing department.
