Abstract

Development Model Learning media are teaching aids that can be used as aids in the teaching and learning process and to increase student learning motivation, and everything that is used both as objects around students and as an environment that students can use in learning. Pop-Up Book media is a learning media developed to help and facilitate students in understanding a material concept in learning activities. Pop-Up Book media is included in the type of visual media and the type of three-dimensional media. Pop-Up Book media presents learning materials with more attractive packaging and can be touched by humans. Pop-Up Book media in the form of embossed books with a size of 29.7cmx42cm and made of art paper.
This research method uses development methods on learning media. This research was conducted using data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, questionnaire dissemination, and documentation. The source of the data collection is grade IV teachers and grade IV students. This study aims to produce Pop-Up Book learning media in science learning for class IV plant material SDN Saringembat II Singgahan. The results of this study show that Pop-Up Book learning media greatly supports the learning process.
Based on the data obtained from this research and development, the development of Pop-Up Book media in science subjects of class IV plant material SDN Saringembat II Singgahan is declared valid and suitable for use in the field. This is evidenced from the results of the calculation of validation questionnaires and response questionnaires. The results of the material expert validation questionnaire showed a percentage of 92.8% while the results of the media expert validation questionnaire showed a percentage of 78.5% and the results of the student response questionnaire showed a percentage of 90.3%.
