Abstract

Gajah Mada Street is the shopping center of Sidoarjo people, that’s why it should have a parking facility able to arrange the parking vehicle. Along Gajah Mada street there is street parking, street retailer which located the parking area, car and motor vehicle are not separated, and also motor vehicle parking in three line caused traffic disturbance. From above situation, there needed evaluation study to find the parking service and street performance. Parking evaluation determined according to parking index and parking turn over. While the performance evaluation of street side was done according to manual capacity of Indonesia Street (1997). Street side parking service performance in Gajah Mada Street for car parking in Gajah Mada 1, there was parking index 17,4% and turn over 0.10 vehicle/SRP/hour. Gajah nada 2 found parking index 60% and Turn Over 0,29 vehicle/SRP/hour. While in Gajah Mada 3 there found parking index 117,77% and Turn Over 0,31 vehicle/SRP/hour. And for motor vehicle parking in Gajah Mada 1 there found parking index 138% and Turn Over 0,44 vehicle/SRP/hour. In Gajah Mada 2 there found parking index 187,9% and Turn Over 0,51 vehicle/SRP/hour. While in Gajah Mada 3 there found parking index 195,7% and Turn Over 1,17 vehicle/SRP/hour. While for street side performance 0,64 for Gajah Mada street 1, 0,89 for Gajah Mada street 2 and 0,66 for Gajah Mada street 3. While parking street performance for the next 5 years there found basic capacity of car parking 158 SRP, 71 SRP and 76 SRP and for motor vehicle there found 52 SRP, 106 SRP and 102 SRP. While for street performance 0,80 for Gajah Mada street 1, 0,73 for Gajah Mada 2 and 0,54 for Gajah Mada street 3.
