Malang Ijo Royoroyo represents a new breakthrough as the Government of Malang City revegetation efforts to build and Malang as "PARIS VAN JAVA" which formerly a designation for the city of Malang. The local government of Malang City in an effort disseminating the work program agenda Malang Ijo Royoroyo who use the media mass of local television in Batu Malang in this case a TV with a consideration because able to reach an audience that labih lot and at the same time, media regarded television as a medium that is able to broadcast information that is very satisfying and message delivered can bring new think the pattern on the individual self and community. Stone TV as a medium of socialization of Malang Ijo Royoroyo capable of designing or repacking of the show as interesting as possible for the community as a communicant or recipient message will be aroused when the design of the show interesting. Therefore, society as receiver and filter all information presented by the media communication assumed to be a group of people who are hungry for information and information needs needed only to be met by presenting the television media as a source of information. The problems are taken in this research is whether effective as Stone TV media socialization of Malang Ijo Royoroyo Work Program by the City Government of Malang, as for purpose of this research is to find effective or not Stone TV as Media Socialization Work Program Malang Ijo Royoroyo by the City Government of Malang. The type of research used by researchers is the type of descriptive approach which describes the state of qualitative social phenomenon as it is without looking at the symptoms existing social. While the sample in this study amounted to 82 people obtained from pre-survey with a total sample pengembilan sampling technique. To collect data using a questionnaire technique, documentation, and literature. Data contributing obtained in the analysis with analysis of the uses gratification or deskripsif analysis that is part of the method research that aims to describe and analyze qualitative data or data contributing values whose size can be said with numbers, which are typically used statistical techniques and counting techniques. The results of data analysis can be seen that the socialization of Malang Ijo Royoroyo by Malang city government TV broadcast by the stone in order to attract residents Malanguntuk participated for part implement revegetation Malang Malang was responded by the community can be seen from the frequency, intensity, benefit from Malang Ijo agenda Royoroyo that, in addition to packaging the show very interesting and able to stimulate them to participate because the program is in addition to interests of all citizens of the city of Malang. In this study we can conclude that what the Government target of Malang City the success of the work program Malang Ijo Royoroyo to socialize through mass media in this case Stone TV. Based on the results of a study of 82 respondents, it can be concluded that the event Malang Ijo Socialization Work Program Royoroyo by the Government of Malang City which aired by Stone TV is very effective in encourage the respondents in this society Klojen Malang District Together for participate in the success of "Malang Ijo Royoroyo".
