Abstract

Delay is the additional travel time required by a vehicle moving through the intersection compared to the crossing without a crossing. Intersection or meeting of a plot between the two types of transport infrastructure in this regard between the highway with a railroad is a form of meeting which often cause delay. The problem that appears is when the volume of vehicles on the approach crossing the greater, it will cause delays and long queues of vehicles significantly. This study aims to determine the characteristics of delay (delay) and the long queue of vehicles and loss of fuel oil (BBM) which occur due to variations in the duration of the closing door prlintasan train, for a variety of variations of traffic flow volumes and subsequently search for the appropriate model to describe the relationship between variables. Location of the research done on the crossing 24 on the highway segment Karangsono Sukorejo. Survey of traffic flow is done by observation of the type of vehicle passenger cars, buses, trucks and motorcycles that led approach crossings. Variables loaded is the duration of the closure gate crossings, traffic volume, time, stopped delay and queue length of vehicles. From the analysis, linear regression model showing the relationship between the old variables railroad crossing closure is very significant to the long queues and queues. Queue model is as follows: For directions to Malang Y1 = -28.80 + 0276 + 0104 X2 X1 with R2 = 0963, F = 117.12 and for directions to Surabaya Y2 = -35.34 + 0289 + 0099 X2 X1 with R2 = 0881, F = 44.42 For the long queue to Malang is Y1 = -220.48 + 2427 + 0572 X 1 X 1 with R2 = 0812, F = 19:44. and for the direction of kesurabaya Y2 = -196.08 + 2599 + 0163 X2 X1 with R2 = 0880, F = 36.67. The biggest delay is 432 seconds for directions to Malang and 421 seconds for directions to Surabaya, the longest queue length of 815 m to the direction to Malang and 840 m for directions to Surabaya. The loss of fuel oil for 1 week 1,504,715.7 IDR.
