Abstract

Work discipline is related with work on time in presence, fullfil duty and less of absence or work deliberate or undeliberate. In working time, a lot of staff leave their duty at office only for take a break or just walking around. Its make their work unmeaningfull and a lot of people felt loss out. Because of that, the writer are very interesting to review with title Subdistrict Leader Way to Increase Staff Discipline (Study at Subdistrict Office Bugul Kidul, Pasuruan). This research’s aim is to know how subdistrict leader increase the discipline, and supported and unsupported factors. The research location at Bugul, Pasuruan with 5 Subdistrict leader and their Secretary, Government Section Principles, Social Prosperity Section Principle and Subdistric Office Staff. The writer using primary and secondary data and the analyzer is qualitatif. The research’s result are the subdistrict leader doing some action, such as training, delegation, motivation, reward and punishment to the staff. From attitude view with give motivation, advice, presence card, give a reward to the staff who have a good discipline, coordination and communication relating with their work. And in behavior views, Bugul subdistrict leader joining and participation with his staff, such as asking staff opinion and give reward. The communication conduct by the leader is direct comunication with the staff and working in togetherness. Obstract factors of this programs is there is still undiscipline staff who is not pay attention with the regulation and presence. It is because of the lower of education level of the staff.
