Abstract

Background : Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) which will weaken the immune system it will make a person more susceptible to various opportunistic infectious diseases and can cause death.
Objective :This Nurse's Final Scientific Work aims to study and understand in depth about Nursing Care for Mrs. S with HIV Opportunistic Pulmonary Tuberculosis infection in the Soedirman isolation room at Kanjuruhan Hospital, Malang Regency.
Method :The research method used is a research strategy approach (Case study Research) with a non-probability sampling technique, data collection uses semi-structured interviews with a nursing assessment form that has been prepared.
Results :The main nursing diagnoses found in HIV/AIDS cases of opportunistic pulmonary tuberculosis infection are ineffective airway clearance, risk of infection, and nutritional deficits. The nursing plan for airway clearance is airway management and oxygen therapy, infection risk diagnosis is infection prevention education, nutritional deficit diagnosis is nutrition management.
Conclusion :People with HIV/AIDS are very vulnerable to contracting opportunistic diseases, especially in infections of the lungs, including pulmonary tuberculosis.
