Abstract

As transportation which many enthused by public, train has shown progress by launching various locomotive types and renewal of technology which more modern. However the existing train technology is not supported with service satisfying. This thing is visible with inaccurate of departure time and arrival from schedule which has been specified. In development of transportation technology especially train is required equipment to watch speed of train by using microcontroller AT89S52 as brain which has been program to implement network in it. Besides as speedometer to know train speed, this equipment applied to control speed by arranging speed of maximum as according to performance owned every locomotive exceed speed of maximum specified, alarm will sound as sign that engine-driver reduces its the speed in manual. Track record or journey of locomotive also will be recorded by recoeder of the this equipment. Here in after this legible recording can be read and save by using software at the PC. Journey recording of locomotive applicable to analyse and estimates because if train to experience an accident. Result from planning and speed watcher tooling of this train implemented based on program at MCU AT89S52 which has been made so that this equipment can be tested and implemented as according to it’s the function.
