Abstract

Nowdays, Adenium being maintained due to their iinteresting, various flower and the existence unique form Adenium hump, especially local hump that is not found in other country. Adenium’s uniquely have no similar in each other Adenium types. Adenium’s price tend to at stable level, because to create root hump needed very long time, meanwhile people fed up didn’t appear quickly because various flower colors always emerged. Generally, Adenium to be collected on the pot, different with Adenium for landscape. Landscape Adenium didn’t need show their root hump, but it depend on their clumps that have compact leafs and branchs, and their blooming flower. This is why not being owned by some Adenium collectors and hobbies abroad, except in Indonesia. Generally, external hobbies treating Adenium as ordinary flower plant. It happen to some of gardener, trader, and hobbiest in Indonesia. External hobbiest interesting on the local hump uniquely, along with local hump art displaying appropriated with their various shape, caused many our local Adenium’s hump being sent abroad. (Anonymous, 2006). This study goal are : (1) To know marketing network Adenium flower in Rowokangkung Subdistrict Lumajang Regency (2) To know marketing margin Adenium flower in study place. Location determining being conducted purposively in Rowokangkung Subdistrict Lumajang Regency. Sampling method using snow ball technique sampling, it means first sample taken (farmer) being determined randomly sampling, that is randomly determined while next sample being determined appropriate with its comodity moving. Data being took are primary data and secondary data. Primary data being directly gained from the farmer and marketing institution through interview and quitionnaire. Secondary data come from various literate, publication, and related institution. Data analysis method that used to analyzing data in this study being condusted on two approach, that are descriptive analysis approach to know ilustration concern of marketing network Adenium flower from farmer to consumer in study place. Quantitative analysis used in this study involve of: marketing margin analysis, marketing network. The result of this study, there are seven marketing network of Adenium flower in Rowokangkung Subdistrict Lumajang Regency, that are: (1) Farmer-Broker-Collector-Big trader-Grocer-Consumer, (2) Farmer Broker-Collector - Grocer-Consumer, (3) Farmer-Broker-Collector-Big trader-Grocer- Consumer, (4) Farmer-Broker - Grocer - Consumer, (5) Farmer - Collector-Big trader-Grocer- Consumer, (6) Farmer - Collector- Grocer-Consumer, (7) Farmer - Big trader-Grocer-Consumer. Some marketing functions, that are : transportation, treatment, sorting, and grading Biggest marketing network margin of Adenium flower is on the lines III Rp 69.167 every stem. The biggest broker’s margin distribution is on the lines II 16.54 %, while the biggest collector’s margin distribution is on the lines IV 41.34 %, while for big trader is on the lines I 35.99 %, and grocer’s biggest margin distribution is on the lines II 55.67 %. Biggest price share, that is received by farmer is on the marketing lines VI 39.85 %. Biggest price share distribution on the broker level is on the marketing lines II 13.85 %, on the collector is on the marketing lines VI 24.867 %, while big trader level is on the marketing lines I 27.11 %, and on the grocer level is on the marketing lines II 46.607%. Based on the study result, being instituted some suggestion, that are : (1) Concising marketing network of Adenium flower with direct selling to grocer, so the marketing margin become larger. (2) need to the exsistence of market information global, with purpose each related marketing institution in Adenium flower marketing can determining and predicting the price, so can reduce disadvantages risk caused by price fluctuation and within marketing institution price reaching average profit. (3) before sell the adenium flowers, farmers need to look for market information which be need such AS information about price of adenium price, in order farmers gain price which be wanted or proper. (4) it will be better if farmers build marketing organization that be able to cover adenium flowers in village level and to market their self directly to consumer, it is carried out in order acception from selling higher than sell through marketing college.
